Casting Society (CSA) announced its film nominees for the 2026 Artios Awards, which celebrates the contributions of casting professionals in film, TV, short films, commercials and theater, on Thursday.
Among the big budget comedy feature nominees are Jay Kelly, The Naked Gun and Wicked: For Good, while the big budget drama nominees include Bugonia, Frankenstein, Marty Supreme, Hamnet and Sinners. In the independent comedy category, Eternity and Twinless were among the nominees, while drama nods went to Blue Moon, Nuremberg, Sentimental Value and Train Dreams, among others.
Additionally, the Casting Society also announced its host for the awards shows: Harvey Guillén (What We Do in the Shadows) will host the Los Angeles ceremony, while Jeff Hiller (Somebody Somewhere) and Jessica Gunning (Baby Reindeer) will host the New York and London ceremonies, respectively.
“As we celebrate the 41st Annual Artios Awards, we are excited to announce Harvey, Jeff, and Jessica as the hosts for our global ceremonies. Their humor, artistry, and energetic spirit set the stage for memorable evenings that showcase the best of our community,” Destiny Lilly, CSA president, says. “This year is especially meaningful as we look forward to the first Academy Award for Achievement in Casting, a historic milestone that emphasizes the lasting influence of casting professionals. Congratulations to all the outstanding nominees whose work continues to elevate storytelling year after year.”
Additionally, Ayo Davis, president of Disney Branded Television, will receive the Lynn Stalmaster Award for Career Achievement, while Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS will be presented with the Marion Dougherty New York Apple Award.
The TV, theater, commercials, short film and short-form series nominees were revealed in October.
